O-Cycling

Antilla Energy VBA O-Cycling program is a community base used cooking oil collection program. We have collection bins at several strategic locations to help all residence of Aruba to deposit there home use cooking oil.

You deposit your oil in the same packaging in which it was purchased. This program recycles the used cooking oil with the plastic containers.

Why do this?

Cooking oil disposed of in the sink can cause your drain pipes to clog and further more contaminate the ground water and surroundings. Long term this action will have a negative effect on Aruba’s flora and fauna. By not sending used oils to the waste water treatment plant, operational costs there are reduced. Sending used cooking oils to landfill causes an increase in methane production which is 21 times more harmful than CO2 emission to the atmosphere.

How you can help?

This service is FREE and it’s a responsible action on your part.
Every drop counts !!!!

Place all used cooking on in a plastic container and dispose of it in one of our several blue bins around the island.
